Design for Everyone: The international “universal design award” was presented for the second time this year

The prizewinners of the “universal design award 09” were selected on January 14, 2009 in a closed jury session by a jury of international experts, consisting of Prof. Fritz Frenkler (f/p-design, Munich), Prof. Keiji Kawahara, (KID Studio Corporation, Japan) and Miguel Helfrich (Tchibo GmbH, Hamburg). The jury awarded the “universal design award 09 ” to 36 of the entries.

In addition, a representative cross-sectional group of 100 test persons cast their votes on January 17, 2009 and honored 33 of the entries with the “universal design consumer favorite 09 ”. 19 Entries received both awards.
